About Me
Originally from Beverly, MA, my academic path began at the University of Miami for undergraduate studies and continued at the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my veterinary medical degree. This was followed by an Emergency and Critical Care internship at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital, which later led to full-time work as an Emergency and ICU veterinarian. More recently, my career transitioned to an Emergency doctor at Veterinary Emergency Group Peabody, a large emergency hospital local to the North Shore area.

Having worked in a veterinary emergency setting and navigated similar experiences with my own pets, I truly understand how emotional, stressful and overwhelming the euthanasia process can be.

At-home euthanasia offers significant benefits for both pets and their families by providing a calm, familiar and private environment during an emotionally difficult time. Pets are able to remain in the comfort of their own home—surrounded by loved ones, familiar smells and their favorite resting places—which helps reduce anxiety, fear and stress. For owners, this setting allows for a more personal, intimate and unhurried goodbye, free from the added stress of travel, clinic environments or time constraints. Families are able to grieve in the privacy of their own home and can choose the pace and atmosphere that feels supportive for their pet. Overall, at-home euthanasia fosters a gentler, more compassionate experience that prioritizes the emotional well-being of both pets and the families who love them.
Compassionate Euthanasia
4Paws Veterinary provides euthanasia services for canines and felines of any size, breed, temperament, or coexisting medical condition, as well as for exotic pets, small mammals, equine patients, and both large and small farm animals.

Appointments are generally scheduled for an hour long visit. This includes a comprehensive explanation of the euthanasia process as well as the full physical euthanasia procedure, paw prints and nose prints, fur clippings and removal of body to pet crematory.
Memorial Options
4Paws Veterinary is partnered with Forget Me Not Pet Crematory. Forget Me Not offers two cremation options; private vs communal.
Private cremation: ashes returned back to owner in standard urn.

Communal cremation: ashes not returned and are scattered in Forget Me Not's memorial ocean reef project.
Ashes can be delivered for free to your hospital for you to pick up, or you can have them shipped directly to your house for an additional charge.
